Lutherans believe that worship is not so much about what we do, but about what God does for us. We simply respond in prayer and praise to the God who comes down to our level.

Worship
We have worship with Holy Communion every Sunday at 10.00am followed by morning tea. Music and worship styles vary but all can be described as contemporary rather than traditional.
The Belconnen congregation of the Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga conduct services most Sundays from 12.30pm. They join with us at times such as Christmas and Easter.
Music
Music plays an important role in our worship and we are blessed to have a pool of talented and accomplished musicians among our members. Our bands provide a great variety of music styles, including a range of instruments from electronic piano to trombone to clarinet to drums and guitars.
Pastoral Services
Confirmation classes
These are conducted by our pastor for youth who have decided to undertake these studies as preparation for confirmation.
Pre-marriage counselling
Pastor provides individual and pre-marriage counselling as required.
Playgroup
Playmates playgroup sessions are held on Tuesday and Fridays from 10.00 am tp 12.00 pm. Young chidren and their parents/carers are welcome at these sessions which are held during school terms.
Fellowship Groups
A number of fellowship groups meet regularly within the congregation. These include:
Men's Group meets at 8.00 pm on the first Wednesday of each month (except January) for study and fellowship in the homes of its members. Also usuallly twice yearly at a local restaurant for dinner.
Ladies' Group meets at 7.30 pm on the third Thursday of each month for study and fellowship in the homes of its members. Also twice yearly for a dinner.
Community dinner - members meet on the last Friday of each month for dinner at 6.00 pm, usually at a restaurant in the Belconnen area.
Other Groups using our building
Each week we have a number of groups from outside our congregation that use our facilities on a regular basis including:
Disability, Ageing and Community Care Services (office in Wayfarer next door)
conduct sessions on Monday and Wednesday for groups of NDIS clients.
Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga - Canberra Congregation
hold their regular services at 1.00pm on Sunday
Samoan Seventh Day Adventist Church
worship and other activities from 9.00am each Saturday
