Pastor Darren Jaensch
Pastor Darren Jaensch was installed at Holy Cross Belconnen, on Sunday 7 May 2023. We welcome Darren, his wife Julie, and their sons Isaac & Lachy.
As he returns to parish ministry at Belconnen, Pastor Darren is very much looking forward to the shift in focus and ministry activity, and is hoping that it will both reinvigorate his passion for more pastorally and sacramentally focussed ministry interactions, and perhaps provide some localised stability that will enable Julie more freedom of movement to travel in her role as National Staff Worker for the Military Christian Fellowship of Australia
John Heinemann
John Heinemann has served as Chairperson of the congregation and Treasurer. He currently provides administrative support on a voluntary basis. He has been a member of the congregation since it began and a member of the Church Council for most of that time.
Garry Watson AM
Garry Watson AM currently serves as Chairperson of the congregation and is one of a number of people who undertake various tasks during the Service including Children’s address, People’s Prayer and Communion Servitor.
Geoff Hartwig
A number of our members provide the children’s address during service. Geoff Hartwig often delivers easy scientific background explanations to the gospel. You may also enjoy his famous sausage rolls on occasions during morning tea. Geoff is also contact person if you would like to volunteer with gardening at Warrambui Retreat & Conference Centre, Murrumbateman. Geoff is a Warrambui Board member and was recently the recipient of the Christian Venues Association Volunteer Award for his work as a board member, volunteer coordinator and internship program advocate.
